The Thai Cafe - East Devon

The lunchtime 'special' menu at this restaurant is excellent value. The owner is always cheerful and engages in friendly conversation. The restaurant is very clean with nice decor. However, the atmosphere can be quiet at times, so it's up to the diners to create their own ambiance.

The food at this restaurant was delicious, although not as traditionally Thai as we've had at other places. The staff was fantastic and provided great recommendations when requested. We would definitely recommend others to dine here. The ambiance was very relaxing, allowing us to enjoy our meal at our own pace without feeling rushed.

In a Devon market town, one would not anticipate stumbling upon authentic Thai cuisine, but that is precisely what you will discover at this restaurant. The atmosphere is impeccably clean, the menu offers a diverse selection (be sure to try the Thom Yum soup), and the Thai Red curry is exceptional. You will not want to miss this place, and you will most certainly find yourself returning again.

Amazing value and authentic Thai food. Vegetarians and children are well catered for. The owners are enthusiastic, friendly and helpful.

We stopped in as we where passing through Honiton, we had heard no reviews and had no expectations. We where thoroughly impressed by the deliciouse fresh food and friendly, polite owner/ waitress. The green papaya salad was particularly good. We would highly recommend this little gem and look forward to our next chance encounter at the Thai Cafe.
