Village Inn - East Devon

I highly recommend this fantastic neighborhood pub. It's dog-friendly and serves delicious, well-prepared food. The service is friendly and the portions are generous. The prices are very reasonable.

We made a last-minute decision to visit this restaurant after our first choice in nearby Launceston was unfortunately filled with loud, intoxicated individuals. Despite this, we were greeted warmly and shown to our table. The atmosphere at this village pub was fantastic, with a true local feel. The food was delicious traditional pub fare and the service was excellent. We were pleased to find that this was also a proper rugby pub, which was a nice surprise. This restaurant is not for those seeking a fancy dining experience, but rather for those who appreciate a good pub with tasty food. They even welcome dogs, which was a bonus for us. Just be cautious of the full moon.

Went for a family meal to the pub, we received a friendly welcome. The food was amazing and the access for wheelchair users was fantastic. Very pleased

This is a no frills traditional English pub in the village of Ashwater. The food is what I'd describe as good hearty pub food. The pie was excellent and whilst my wife wanted something smaller, her jacket potato was far from that!

We went as a family, children adults. We had a long table which was perfect it was at the end of the pub away from the main bar so we didn't have to worry about disturbing anyone. The food was excellent and service...was very good. The ice creams were absolutely huge!!
