The Horns Inn - East Dorset

The meal was cold and the potatoes were very small and dried up very poor value. Didn’t enjoy it won’t go back wouldn’t recommend

We popped in just after lunch for a family meal. The pub had a lovely welcoming feel, and the young guy behind the bar was very pleasant. The food choice was very good, and the food and service were amazing. We had 2 different types of burgers, fish cakes and Beef stew. Will definitely be returning.

I booked a table for a late Sunday lunch, and was advised to book for 2:30pm, which turned out to be perfect timing as a large party was just leaving when we arrived. The service was friendly and attentive without being overwhelming. The menu offered a variety of delicious options, making it hard to decide what to order. Our meals all arrived at the same time, piping hot with extra gravy. Despite being a pub, they provided table service for drinks which was a nice touch. We were not rushed to leave our table, and the staff thanked us for coming. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

A warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble including a request for pancakes (Shrove Tuesday). Food and especially the desserts were excellent and great service. Looking forward to our next visit

We had a delightful lunch at this restaurant on a sunny day in October. The menu was lovely, with enticing specials and a good variety of options on the regular menu. The barman was friendly and the food was excellent. The restaurant also had a spacious garden with play equipment, making it an ideal spot to bring children. The portions were generous and overall it was a great experience.
