Wimborne Tandoori - East Dorset

Visited the restaurant tonight and ordered two large portions of fish and chips, as well as a portion of chicken goujons.

The restaurant has a fantastic variety of options and all dishes are made to order. The fries are delicious, and the staff is very friendly. It can get busy at times, but the wait is never too long.

Don't know where my last review has gone. So, the sausage was white colour and completely raw it poured out with grease before dripping for sometime. The chips are green and brown and hard. The chips have no taste most probably because they are not cooked from fresh. Not enough salt or vinegar. Scary bad! We threw the entire order in the bin and if you don't believe me just look at these images.

We always enjoy the fish and chips at this restaurant, whether we choose cod or haddock. They are even willing to remove the skin upon request. The staff are also very friendly and entertaining.

Although now opened for 2 years, this was our first visit and we went clutching a voucher for £25 for a 'family feast ' a prize in a local competition. All the food is cooked to order and the choice is excellent: large cod (in breadcrumbs) chips, plus various other items were all of very good standard and definitely of good value. Any local competition will have to raise its game to avoid being put in the shade.......
