new aroma indian - East Geelong

We chose to take away our food,and had two curries,raita,Naan,Roti and rice. The curries were just incredibly good. The lady who took our order was very kind, and the restaurant looked great. We still decided to take away,as we had to go home first and didn't want to come back,but when we ate this delicious curries we wished that we would, to savour this great food there. Absolutely recommended!

This restaurant in Geelong is truly a hidden gem, but word is starting to spread! The food here is top-notch and as someone who has recently returned from India, I can say with confidence that it is authentically prepared and absolutely delicious. The service is excellent and the overall dining experience is fantastic. In my opinion, this is the best Indian food I have had in Australia and one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever visited. If you go, make sure to ask for Ashwani and order the pakoras - they are to die for!

My daughter chose to have her wedding reception at New Aroma and it was a quirky but fantastic choice. The staff had never handled a wedding before, but they really went above and beyond to ensure it was a wonderful day. The food was delicious and even though we booked out the entire restaurant, they managed to accommodate us. Thank you, New Aroma!

The atmosphere at the restaurant was relaxed as it was not very busy that night. The server was friendly and cheerful, providing explanations of the specials and promptly bringing me the beer I ordered (we brought our own wine). All dishes were made with fresh ingredients and matched their descriptions accurately. The spicy curry had a good kick without being overly intense. The portion sizes were satisfying. The restaurant's decor was modern and tasteful. I was surprised that this restaurant is not more popular, as the food surpasses that of many other Indian restaurants in the Geelong area.
