Summit Mountain Lodge Steakhouse

Summit Mountain offers a comfortable, unique stay in one of the most beautiful landscapes of the American Glacier Park. Great food and service, friendly atmosphere. Directly on the highway, access to the Glacier is either east or west. A great place for travelers, locals and special events. A real jewel.

What an amazing place. The owner went beyond and beyond to make our stay perfect. His staff had just finished a day early before the season and he climbed to the plate to fulfill all the tasks and make sure we still have full experience. The food was absolutely amazing and the covered deck overlooking the mountains was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the meal. The cabins were sweet, clean and very quiet. The new main lodge is stunning and a beautiful place to step inside and enjoy the view from the comfortable couches. Couldn't recommend this place anymore. I wish we could stay more than one night!

We stayed at the Summit Lodge for four nights at hiking BSP. The hotel is in perfect location and offers you the quiet surroundings of BSP. The staff is EXCELLENT and Ted, owner/operator was very friendly and ensured that our stay was special. The restaurant Essen was amazing, and we ate every evening of our stay. The cabin was clean and very comfortable! Great place to stay after a day of exploring the GSP and stay in the beautiful secluded lodge. Much better than staying in a larger complex or tourist area.

Nice location. Cabin did not have air conditioning. When we booked it plainly stated cabins had AC and heat. We made it work with the single fan that was provided, but I would’ve liked it to have been a more comfortable stay. The main lodge is very nice, much more updated than the cabin we stayed in. Steakhouse was also very nice. Close to both the east and west Glacier NP entrances. Weak Wi-Fi, not a huge problem for us but may be for some.

Perfect base camp for Glacier NP. We stayed in the Running Rabbit cabin and it was just right for our family of three. Air conditioning in the cabin was a welcome treat after hiking in the heat all day long. Be sure to look for Bob Sr and Bob Jr the resident moose on the property. Management was attentive to us individually as well despite being at the height of the busy season. Do not miss a chance to indulge yourself with an excellent meal at the steakhouse. Kudos to the staff and management at Summit Mountain Lodge and Steakhouse for helping our family create some great Glacier memories.
