Bowdie's Chophouse - East Grand Rapids

The lobster mac cheese was everything. The crabcakes are divine. The drinks are strong. The service was professional and accommodating. The cowboy ribeye, and fillet we had were gorgeous cuts of meat. You get what you pay for here. My only criticism though is this steak could use some salt; I love the natural flavor that comes from a good cut of steak, but there is something to be said for a well salted good cut of steak. With that being said, our server did not hesitate to bring me salt, and for that, I am grateful.

We went here for our anniversary dinner and the staff was so gracious. The food was great and out server recommended some awesome dishes. We both had steaks which were cooked perfectly. The lobster mac was pretty good, although we are not a fan of that particular pasta. The cocktails were great and there were plenty of options. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. Tomahawk steak was great. I would have preferred a baked potato but had to choose between French fries or au gratin potatoes. Wanted a tossed salad but not on menu. Chose between wedge salad or grilled caesar. Wedge was very good. I'm old school and prefer a steak, baked potato and a tossed salad. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

Overall a very good experience. The dishes were executed well, and full of flavor. The staff was excellent and the atmosphere was very intimate.
