Ordered a lobster roll and truffle fries for lunch. Lobster roll had WAY too many pickled celery and truffle fries were cold. For the price. Go elsewhere
I LOVE stopping into Olives for a delicious bite to eat and a beautiful craft cocktail. Olives is one of my favorite go-to restaurants in the Grand Rapids area that I recommend to others. The sage goat cheese gnocchi is divine! Comfort food!! There is this mushroom crostini appetizer that is a must-have every time I go there. GO! You won't regret it.
We went there for the first time, it was a family birthday celebration. Loved everything about it, it was a bit warm, but overall a great experience. We will return!
Giving a 5 star because I’ve been coming here for many years have had many positive experiences great food. However , most recent time visiting the service was slow sub par not as friendly as I remember. I got the chicken picatta which was good, but the potatoes were under lacking flavor. Picatta sauce was good but needed more balance too citrusy. Other than that, the drinks were great overall enjoyed my evening spent there with Great company.
Eating at Olives was a joyful experience in culinary excellence. It is a must try restaurant in the gas light district. Simple but delicious menu and we are definitely going back. Easy parking and both indoor and outdoor dining. They also have a membership program for wine connoisseurs. We had the burger and the club sandwich and also the Michigan salad. I believe anything you try on their menu you will fully enjoy. And you got to at least try them once the truffle fries. Because of our schedule we were unfortunately unable to sample their desserts but they sounded delightful. Next time for sure.
