Izaak Walton Public House

Was staying locally due to a family wedding. Nicola Mandy looked after us all very well. The service was great the food was tasty! Best fish pie every :P It's also very well priced and comes in big portions.. The locals were also very friendly and made us all feel welcome. Would recommend this pub to all. Thank you Jo co. :

I visited this restaurant for a peaceful coffee. I ordered a hot chocolate and it was absolutely delicious. The server was friendly but not overly so, which was just right. Perfect experience.

This restaurant is fantastic. The food is delicious and there are plenty of gluten free options on the menu. They also have choices for vegetarians and vegans. The service is excellent, with very friendly and helpful staff. I would definitely recommend The Izaak Walton to all my friends and family.

I visited this pub last week that is located in a charming little village, but the experience was a complete disaster. No one greeted us or took our drink orders. When we tried to order food, we found out that half of the menu items were not available. It took over an hour for our food to arrive, and when it did, it was served cold. The woman behind the bar, who identified herself as the "landlady," was extremely rude and lacked any customer service skills. We all felt very unwelcome. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

We were staying nearby in a Shepherd's hut at Meon Springs and popped in here for dinner one night. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and the food was home-cooked, and delicious. Great value too! Would definitely recommend if you're looking for some proper home-cooked pub food and a lovely warm welcome!
