Liphook Kebab And Burger Van

Just had another delicious kebab from the van. Mixed chicken and lamb huge portions sizes, nice moist meat, oodles of salad and sauces. Ordered by phone and all packed up and ready for collection on my arrival in 20 mins. Perfect! Just be aware it’s cash only, no cards.

The kebab meat was so dry I could of cracked a tooth and to add injury to money what I paid, I even got a box that had a hole in it like it has been burnt . Chips were rock hard too so Im Guessing the oil hasn’t been changed in ages . Guess u have to try and I did , and NEVER again: not even in desperation . Even my kids said was the worst kebab they had ever tried and my youngest who likes the occasional kebab refused to eat anymore after first bite.

Good van serving good hearty fast food whilst on a long journey. I like these van on a cold morning when a coffee and a hot sarny is needed to boost your levels.

Can't say what the food is like but don't appreciate waiting for food and being served after another customer who came along after us without an explanation why! Anyway went to Murats kebabs in Alton instead and had a fabulous kebab which i can highly recommend and guess what the service was first class too!

I recently returned from London and found myself needing dinner alone while my wife and kids were busy. I had noticed this food van many times before, always busy even during evening events in Liphook. Unfortunately, the kebab I ordered was disappointing. With no kofta available, I settled for a doner kebab with chips. The meat was fatty and lacked flavor, and I observed them reheating leftovers and using bottled chili sauce. Lesson learned - I'll stick to authentic Turkish and Greek restaurants in the future.
