Lovely pub, lovely food, BUT portion sizes are terrible especiallygiven the price. The burger and chips we just had was served on what can only be described as a side plate, most likely because if it was on a normal plate it would have been lost. Traditional pub burger and chips usually leaves you ready to burst, this left me ready to head home to have a 2nd lunch. Unfortunately we won't be heading back any time soon. This restaurant is a nostalgic throwback to a different time, which I usually appreciate. However, serving food from that era at today's prices is not justifiable. The roast dinner, priced at £21, was reminiscent of school cafeteria quality. The staff's attitude was poor. It seems that the kitchen staff, suppliers, and overall food quality have changed recently. The price range per person is between £20-£30.
