We have been passing this restaurant for years, and I have always wanted to stop, but as we are based in Montauk, getting back to the far side of East Hampton often seems daunting. I WISH WE HAD DONE THIS YEARS AGO. The staff in this small family friendly restaurant is welcoming and attentive. We had the green salad with the house tarragon vinaigrette. followed by the Teriyaki Shrimp with Fried Rice, the Grilled Salmon with Baked Potato, and the Tuna with Chili Seaweed and Veg. Dessert was Key Lime Pie and Baklava. Everything was perfect. I hope it does not take us 20 more years to get back!
Excellent french onion soup. The tuna entree is alright.
Had a very pleasant dinner on the way to amagansett on a quiet summer weeknight.max is a great chef a personable host.
Weird menu. Shrimp was definitely undercooked and obviously frozen
