I ordered a simple meatball hero, but it came on a toasted roll that was burned to a crisp. If I had noticed it before the clerk placed it in the bag, I would have turned it down. Additionally, the overpriced cookies I bought were stale, which is unacceptable at any price.
I wish I had discovered this place earlier! They have an incredible variety of sandwiches, making it difficult to decide. Eventually, I settled on the Soprano focaccia with broccoli rabe. The sandwich was huge—larger than my hand! I could only finish half of it. I also ordered four stuffed peppers, which I haven't had in ages. The total was $20. I will definitely return, as I couldn't stop drooling over some of the salads and other prepared dishes!
This restaurant is usually a great choice for a variety of dishes, from their freshly-prepared heat-and-serve pasta meals to delicious Italian soups. However, their freshly-made sandwiches are a standout. Firstly, the sandwiches are enormous. Secondly, they are typically very flavorful. And today, they were especially exceptional! I ordered three Chicken BLT Focaccia sandwiches, and they were even better than usual. Conveniently located across from the LIRR station, this place is definitely a must-visit!
As for vegetarian options, I noticed they have some available. While I can't confirm if they're 100% vegetarian, I did see several dishes that were entirely vegetable-based, which I'm sure would be delicious! In terms of parking, they have their own lot with about 10-15 spaces, and there’s also plenty of free street parking available. Although I can't say for sure if they cater specifically to dietary restrictions, the staff seems very accommodating and will happily prepare anything you request. I ordered takeout for lunch, and the food and service both earned a solid 5 stars from me. My recommendations include the Meatball Parmigiana, Villa Combo Salad, and, of course, the Combo Sandwich. Overall, a fantastic experience!
I paid $19 for this, plus an additional $10 for the frozen tiramisu. Overall, I would rate the food a 1, the service a 1, and the atmosphere a 1. I was quite disappointed.
