Carmines - East Hartford

Carmine's visited for the first time and was completely impressed! Was not sure what to expect, but when I went in the door, the atmosphere was amazing. Great crowd, fantastic waiter and delicious food. The band was also great and the sound at the place was perfect (loud enough to enjoy, but not so loud that you could not have a conversation. The owner sat at our table and immediately made us feel that it was a place to relax and have a great time. Very unexpected place in all the best ways. Very recommended. We're coming back! I had an excellent dining experience at Carmine. The owner is a really nice guy, and the waitstaff is attentive and efficient. The food was absolutely perfect!

Carmine is a phenomenal resturance, cook and host. His food is excellent, the atmosphere is full of fun and love, and his staff is just fantastic! The bartenders are really mixedologists dressed as bartenders; Emmy and Stephanie literally wait for you hand and foot and when you eat at the bar, they make sure everything is perfect! Carmine himself is a pretty successful musician, and if your luck is enough, he will stand up and with the very talented musicians he handed for entertainment. I recommend Carmine's Bar, Grill Stage, especially if you are looking for phenomenal homemade Italian food, a great night out and the best live entertainment around!!! Tell Carmine Digby sent you and he will probably mention in free unlimited glasses of water with dinner only for my name!!!

I've visited this place a few times to catch different bands and attend an open mic night. The atmosphere is fantastic. Carmine has done an excellent job with the renovation. The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming, and the food is delicious. While the tequila selection isn't the best, which is common for many local spots, they do offer a solid selection of whiskies (my second favorite).

Carmine is fantastic! The food is outstanding, and I've visited multiple times. The atmosphere is vibrant, making it a fun spot to relax. The live bands on Friday nights are incredible, especially when Carmine joins in; he's truly talented! I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.
