Lobster Shack - East Haven

Lovely little local establishment. All the food was very good and the service was very good as well. Nice location. Very clean.

First time at the Lobster Shack I don't think I would go back it was a nice place atmosphere was fun the service was great the food It was mostly good the shrimp and cocktail sauce was wonderful the blackened chicken was great however the Caesar salad dressing was tasteless this was really house made the chef really has to step it up. If it was a better Caesar salad dressing I would have given it five stars

Went to the lobster shack for Father’s Day. Ordered crab cakes as an appetizer. We waited about a half and hour for them. The waitress came over 3-4 times saying they’ll be out shortly. Since we waited so long, she offered us a free cup of soup. I don’t know if that actually makes up for the wait. The table next to us got their food before us and came in after us. The table infront of us got their crab cakes in about 10 minutes. With that being said, the food was delicious. The waitress was very pleasant.

Lobster mac and cheese is delicious. The cesaer salad is fine. The view is absolutely gorgeous and the service is great. It's pricey but that's expected.

Beautiful seafood themed restaurant right by the water. There are other items on the menu to satisfy every palate... reasonably priced and big portions. We ordered the Lobster Bisque, Fried Calamari App, Fried Shrimp Plate and Shrimp Florentine. Shrimps were large and tasted fresh. Located on the Long Island Sound and next to a town beach and condominiums. I believe the beach is called East Haven Town Beach. Beautiful little area after visiting Yale. It was a quick 15 minute car ride.
