Yat Son - East Helena

The staff at this restaurant was very friendly and provided excellent service. The cozy atmosphere felt like a quaint town café, which was unexpected for a Chinese restaurant but surprisingly worked well. The prices were very reasonable. However, the food was just okay. While some dishes like the egg rolls and wontons seemed homemade, they were only average in taste. I ordered the chow mein and found it to be mostly celery with a few water chestnuts. My companion had the chicken lo mein, and the flavors were overwhelmed by celery. The egg rolls were delicious but lacked the homemade touch I was hoping for.

This restaurant is a family tradition! We eat here often and we love the owner and the personal touch they bring.

One of the oldest establishments in Helena, this restaurant only accepts cash or check and is open for dinner three days a week. But with Jeff at the helm, you can expect nothing less than greatness. His many years of experience in the kitchen are evident in the delicious dishes served.

Just thinking about Yatson makes me hungry. Gotta keep this review short so I can get some Almond Chicken in my life before they close for the day.Five stars.All day.Every day.
