If you're not a fan of the menu options, the staff is happy to create a customized dish for you. The prices are quite reasonable and the service is excellent. While there are no tablecloths, the staff is very friendly and the food is great.

It was so lovely. The best place to go for a breakfast 100% recommend. I had a bubble breakfast and I’ve had a breakfast in a stick and a sausage sandwich. Oh my lord it is so lovely and I would go after school if if was open till 5 and not 2.30. Everyone go there

Popped into mead lane cafe with an old work mate as ive heard some reports its the best cafe in hertford, and guess what! its all true the bubble breakfast was a real top notch breakfast, and the staff could not have been more freindly and helpful, while i was eating a driver stuck his head in the door asking for directions and they even helped him find his delivery point.

Found this lovely place by accident. Great welcome, great breakfast, delicious bubble what more do you need.

Very friendly staff, a cute greasy spoon great for a slap up brunch. Perfect for a family meal and offers vegetarian option(s).
