Ruby - East Hertfordshire

This restaurant is absolutely wonderful. The layout is fantastic, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The food was exceptional, the best we've had in a long time. We will definitely be returning, as the journey from Chorleywood is well worth it.

I have become a regular at The Ruby. It's a lovely establishment where you are greeted warmly. The atmosphere is fantastic, the service is friendly, and the food is exceptional. In my opinion, it is one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever visited. The food is delicious and the flavors are top-notch. I highly recommend The Ruby if you are in the area, and even suggest making the effort to visit if you are not nearby.

I attended a book club meeting at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the portions were very generous - I had enough leftovers for two more meals at home.

Booked tabls for two on sat night.got there bit early didnt wait long for table.the server took us upstairs went so quick we lost him.our first time visiting the place. Had papadum for staters and asked how many we wanted. Mains tikka massala red so red .mixed grill chicken prawn.lamb chop and kebab. All same colour with onoins.bombay potatos no taste at all.and so oily and greasy.special fried rice again full of oil and greasy Keema naan.top swimming with grease. And we have heard such good things about the place .and was dissappointed Left lots of the food .the mix grill looked very unappetising . And it was.service was good at table and i gave 2 stars as plates were hot.

From start to finish excellent service and food Thoroughly impressed !! Made to feel very welcome on our first but not last Visit
