Saracens Head - East Hertfordshire

Usually The Saracens Head is a 5 out of 5 but on this day it was well below it's normal standards. Had drinks, no problem, ordered food and here's when the problems arose, 2 pizzas and halloumi fries. Waited 30 mins for first pizza and 45 mins for second by which time my partner had eaten their's. Also 6 halloumi fries for £6.75, surely should be more fries for that cost.

Well we sat outside watching the river flow past with Geese, Swans, ect, Nice atmosphere, I ordered the Vegetarian nacho dish,with Tortillas, and I think the menu should have said they deep fried the Tortillas , As they were horrible, and spoilt the complete meal, I was there with my daughter, and granddaughter, Who had paid for the meal, I didn't say anything to her, as it would be rude, So please state the Tortillas are deep fried and not just normal, The place is nice, friendly staff, But it ruined my experience, as it was my first visit.

Stopped for a lunch time snack and drinks, nice riverside location.

Brilliant lunch, pizza was delicious, nice staff and great place to sit and relax while watching rhe world go by.

I was unable to comment on the food as we didn't have any, but it was nice to sit outside next to the water in the sun
