The menu is quite extensive, and I loved the option to order a piece of French toast, which I chose. The French toast was made with homemade bread that was thick and yeasty; you could definitely tell it was made in-house. I would have preferred it to be soaked a bit longer, but it was still very good. My husband ordered the sunrise burger, which was excellent, and the accompanying fries were fantastic as well. The burger had a delicious flavor, and my sister opted for the chicken, which she also enjoyed. Everything was served piping hot. Despite the restaurant being quite busy, our waitress did a great job attending to us. We're not entirely sure about the parking situation, but for the three of us, the total came to $40 (before tip). Overall, it's a great place for breakfast!
Hometown caffe with good eating and friendly staff. we visited the opposite and it seemed that this was a place where the locals arrived and enjoy the breakfast. I got the sausage omelett with a keks and my man got the basics 2 eggs, American pommes, speck and toast. I also ordered a homemade cinnamon roll to go: my omelet was a little tasteless and gumsy, but the filling of American frits, sausage, cheese and wobbles were really good! my husband also enjoyed his meal. so glad that we stopped to breakfast and got a taste of East Jordan:
I'm from four hours away and visit every time I'm in the area. It’s an amazing experience with delicious food and great prices. It’s definitely one of my favorite places to eat. The homemade bread is fantastic!
I had one of the best steaks I've ever tasted here—though I have to admit, it’s hard to beat my own special recipe! The locals were incredibly friendly, which added to the warm atmosphere. I enjoyed the steak, a perfectly cooked over-easy egg, and their delicious fried potatoes. Their homemade roasted wheat bread was fantastic, and I absolutely can't forget the deliciously glazed cinnamon roll—everything was finger-licking good!
Excellent food, well flavored, and eggs were done right. Our server Cami was attentive and checked on us regularly. This is a great mom and pop type of place. It's simple homegrown country cooking. The coffee is strong, the eggs are local, and the food is hot!
