The State Room at Michigan State University

We really enjoyed our dinner at the State Room. We could actually hear each other speaking, even though the restaurant was busy. The food was delicious and our server was terrific.

It was my partner’s birthday dinner. The entire meal was excellent. The cocktails, the appetizers, our main courses and the dessert were all delicious.

We had a very nice dinner are very glad we were able to eat here!

Took a former student employee to dinner to celebrate the accomplishment. The Server was nice enough but not at first. At first, she was rather cool and standoffish. It wasn’t until the end of our dinner that she warmed more. I don’t know what it was and kept wondering about it. All in all it was not my best State Room experience and it could have been better. Food was good but nothing that knocked my socks off. This place has good ambiance, better than good appetizers and better than good desserts. I’ll return ...because -for now- it’s the place I’ll take my student employees to celebrate their accomplishments.

Wonderful setting for a business luncheon. Good food choices, excellent service. Table spacing and ambiance is conducive to conversation. Parking to the south.
