People sat with their coats on eating. When we asked the waitress if we could have the heating up we were told she was hot. You just couldn’t enjoy your food because it was too cold. Staff seemed helpful
This place is not as good as when it was privately owned. Now it’s owned by Tattershall Lakes it as lost that personal touch. We had to wait over 50 minutes for our meal and it was not even busy. The staff where lovely but the food was really average,. Spending over £100 in there I expect I little better, I will not be going in there again with my family.
The food was beautiful. The staff were polite. The location is well decorated especially the garden. The booths in the garden are very well decorated.
Table of 42 and faultless! We pre ordered and the food arrived promptly. Excellent food, Pollyanna, the manager who dealt with our booking from the start was excellent, nothing was too much trouble excellent team, young but brilliant. highly recommend, we will be back for sure.
We booked for Sunday dinner prior to arriving at the pub. Having read a bad review on here an hour before going I was very sceptical. But our experience was absolutely not like the bad review we read, We was greeted with a friendly member of staff and as we had arrived early they accommodated for us and we got a table. There was a short wait for drinks as the pub was busy and was to be expected. The Sunday dinner was amazing. We could not fault it (and I am a picky eater and vegetarian As I didn’t have meat the chef gave me extra Yorkshire pudding stuffing and roast potatoes. All staff were lovely and friendly. We will definitely return. :
