The Beck Grill And Carvery

Wow what can I say about The Beck, we came here for lunch and I had a steak and Stilton pie, mum had steak and ale.They were amazing massive huge chunks of melt in your mouth steak and the side of the pie was like a doorstop, they were also on a 2 for 1 offer so we got the cheepest 1 free Carrots on the dry side but that is my one and only criticism would highly recommend here to anyone. BEST PIE I'VE HAD ANYWHERE EVER!

We came to Maplethorpe for a last minute break over summer and decided to come here for a carvery after reading the reviews. It did not disappoint! We didn’t book but were able to get a table even though it was super busy. The prices were really reasonable we paid £45 for drinks and carvery for 2 adults, a child and a baby. I am not exaggerating when I say this is the best carvery we have ever had, there was so much choice and variety and also had my favourite mushy peas! The parsnips were the best I ever had and all of the food was cooked to perfection. I always find that when carvery’s are bust they throw the food out under done but this was not the case here. We are actually considering visiting maplethorpe again just so we can come back here!

Absolutely amazing carvery, all day every day. Menu food always perfectly cooked fresh and hot. Drinks are not expensive. Staff always go above and beyond and are so lovely no matter how busy they are. Never come across a place so consistently fabulous.

Absolutely first class. There gluten free carvery is amazing, and even offered to do some gluten free roast potatoes. As it’s very hard to find gluten free options, this is fantastic.

The best sea food platter I've had in a long time squid cooked perfectly service was very good to hubby had carvery which was very good to my daughter had a burger meal which was fabulous
