Another buisness stop On arrival to hotel please be aware there is a huge carpark to the rear of the hotel which is easily accessible I did get greeted by two lovely ladies of a very friendly disposition and had a bit of a laugh with them There was a bar area for drink etc and lots of shops around the market square I got offered the best room in the house overlooking the entire square which was beautiful very spacious The room had a bath which was a lovely bonus and great tv The bed was extremely comfy The only thing I have to mention was that the room was extremely cold although the lady did mention there was a problem with the central heating I got really very cold in the night. The coffee facilities were there although basic but nice and clean Hotel could do with a makeover as carpets paintwork etc getting worn but nothing major The hotel did say they didnt do breakfast which I was surprised at so I had to go elsewhere to eat. To summarise Very friendly staff Ample parking Beautiful location with lots of amenities Lovely room Just need to put on a breakfast and hotel could do with a small makeover Rooms: 5 Service: 4 Location: 4

Called in for food and drinks. Both surpassed our expectations. Cheery service, cracking food, excellent range of beers and spirits. What's not to like : Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view

We stayed at the windmill Hotel on the 7th 8th of July 2023. Debbie was very welcoming as we had spoke previously on the telephone, Our room was brand new and decorated outstanding , The room it's self was clean tidy and we could not fault it ,The staff in the bar were very polite and welcoming Luke was very funny and quite a nice gentleman the drinks were moderately priced, The food in the restaurant was outstanding and moderately priced all so we had a lovely weekend at the Windmill Hotel in Alford. Everyone was very friendly in the village of Alford, which made our stay even better.
