Adriano's - East Lothian

It seems to be impossible to get a really fresh fish in Dunbar takeaways. The food here is OK. The staff are lovely. Pity the fish was not fresh, and overcooked, or both. I would rather pay for one really fresh fish than get two average fish in one meal.

I recently had an absolutely fantastic fish and chips dinner at this restaurant - it's the best I've had in years. The fish was freshly cooked with a light, crispy batter that was delicious. Not only was the food top-notch, but it was also great value for the price. I wish I lived closer so I could become a regular customer. I'm only in Dunbar for a few more nights, but I already know where I'll be having dinner tonight!

I have to admit, I wasn't very impressed with this restaurant. I had read many fantastic reviews, but I found the food to be bland. It was just a typical basic chip shop with nothing special to rave about. I don't think I will be rushing back anytime soon.

Situated in High Street in Dunbar, we stopped off for fish and chips. We weren't disappointed, the chips were freshly made as was the fish. Its always a good sign when there is a queue outside. Prices were reasonable
