Hellenic Snack Bar Restaurant

I worked there many years ago. Since then I haven't found a place with better Greek cuisine. Unique interior and sweet Greek melodies feel very comfortable. The most beautiful owners and employees. Many warm memories. I definitely recommend this place.

Always have happened this place and finally on the way to the ferry. Hands down one of the best Greek places we were outside Greece. The portions are huge, service good, and outdoor area is great relaxing. They got their start with the lemonade, so we had to try so refreshing (light and frothy) and not excessively sweet. We ordered the Horiatiki Salata and the gyro plate. Encourages to go back and try more of the menu

I never thought to find Greek food after I moved from NYC. Then I found Hellenic. Very competitive with the best. The staff is always gracious and I had many excellent meals throughout the years both in the restaurant and takeout. Very recommended.

Great food and friendly, efficient staff. Our family go-to for weekend breakfast? or, well, anytime! You can?t go wrong with Hellenic! We?ve mostly dined in but when the pandemic hit they quickly put together a streamlined take-out and delivery service that was greatly appreciated.

This restaurant is a North Fork institution and second generation chef George Giannaris continues to deliver quality Greek food and innovative updates to old recipes. The staff is ever friendly and professional. And in an age of higher priced fancy restaurants, the Hellenic stays true to great family food quality and affordable prices. On a great summer day, try the spiked lemonade for sure (but make sure you have a designated driver).
