The Halal Guys - East Meadow

I ordered 5 platters from the Westbury East Meadow branch on May 14th through the DoorDash app. Unfortunately, this time the food was old and the chicken platters had a strange smell. I recorded a video of myself throwing the food in the garbage, wrote a negative review, and exchanged emails with Halal Guys customer service and the East Meadow branch to complain. Ultimately, they directed me to contact DoorDash for a credit, which I believe is unfair as Halal Guys are responsible for the quality of the food. I will be posting videos and pictures of the discarded food on my channel as evidence that we did not eat it. I am currently waiting for a response to my last email from the Westbury branch. Used to come here until I realized there are other places for Great Halal. My favorite thing here is the Falafels.

Popped in again after a while and had my best Halal Guys experience yet. Same great food but everything was just...hotter [not spicy hot] than usual. Never realized how I wasn't enjoying how cold everything was after adding all that white sauce, but these fellas know what's up and made for an even better experience ??

I found bones in my chicken, the chicken was undercooked, and the lamb was extremely tough. I felt so sick that I almost threw up. I paid $13 for my meal but only took one bite before throwing it away.

This restaurant serves one of the best gyro dishes I have had in a long time. I absolutely loved the cilantro and hot sauce on the gyro, and the lamb was cooked perfectly. I will definitely be returning. The service was excellent and the restaurant was very clean. The pricing is reasonable, and I can't wait to try the chicken gyros next time.
