$100 for two plates of food 2 drinks and an appetizer. The service? Well, they seemed pissed off and were speed walking everywhere. One of the servers got mad at our server and they were making snarky comments towards each other. In addition, Nobody checked up on us unless we would stare. The place wasn't even busy. Not sure why they were under so much stress. I will say my fellow yelpers failed me. This is not authentic food. It's culinary school, follow a recipe from something that we learned while studying abroad kinda food. We ordered the carnitas plate. The guacamole looks like it's a lot but it sits on a huge bed of cabbage. Also, the guacamole had carrots in it?! What?! I was sad when my bill came because my food was tasteless and not worth it. I took my son as our monthly date and he apologized and confessed that his food was not good. I added salt, asked for some hot sauce... something! This is a hard pass for me and will definitely never ever return nor recommend.
Service was great Limited menuVery quiet when we went Not bad but nothing to rave about
Everything was absolutely amazing!!! The margaritas was probably the best I've had in the valley! The service was amazing and friendly! Overall just amazing place for great authentic Mexican food. I will be back!
I wish I could give this restaurant another star! Just blown away by the creative and wonderful menu selections! Far from your standard dishes, it made our choices fun and interesting. Reminded me of a nice restaurant you would find in Mexico City. The restaurant offers free parking and both indoor and outdoor seating. We enjoyed outdoor seating and wonderful service. Complementary chips and salsa are a standard. Full bar and a house lager made in conjunction with a nearby brewer was super refreshing along with margaritas made with fresh squeezed lime. Unable to decide, we had the opportunity to try two of their appetizers, which were both phenomenal! The roasted corn elite dish was by far the best that we've ever had and the shrimp ceviche was super fresh. There was a selection on the menu for enchiladas where a portion of proceeds are contributed to Alice Cooper's Rock Solid foundation to help local teens. We tried several dishes which allowed for us to taste some of the best and moist carnitas I think that I've ever had. The smoked chicken was very subtle, but added a depth of flavor that was fantastic. The desserts were all very rich and delicious, portions certainly sized to be shared!I cannot say enough about this restaurant as it must be some of the best Southwest/Mexican influence food I've ever had. A must for anyone who loves good food
