Lots of yummy garlic and cajun flavor, but didn't taste the lemon at all. I'm glad I got the mild since it was still spicy for me. Not sure if that's because of the Cajun seasoning but it was good. I got the crawdads and shrimp. Both tasted pretty fresh even though I ordered the frozen crawfish. I didn't try anything else from the menu, but what I had was pretty good.
I was skeptical at first driving up it was empty with no wait on a Saturday night. However, this place is absolutely amazing from the food to the service! Prices are reasonable too. I will be back and I have already told my friends and family! The combo #3 was delicious.
Ordered from GrubHub, this restaurant decided to close early, and never informed GrubHub that they closed early, so when my driver showed up to get my food, the restaurant was closed. I was informed so late that I am unable to order dinner for my family from any place else as every place else is now closed. It's very disrespectful and unprofessional to clients trying to buy food.
Amazing quality in seafood. Large shrimps, mussels, and crawfish. The house Cajun sauce was delicious and just how I like it, salty and savory versus sweet and tangy but a constructive criticism is that I like mine a little bit thicker and mr. claws was just a tad bit on the watery side (just a preference). Another constructive criticism is the type of sausage served (again, just a preference) wish it was some good beef sausage. Definitely delicious! Still five stars!
I don't love it but I don't hate it.Pros: flavorful sauce Friendly service Peeled shrimp option Cons: limited beverage options Overcooked corn Undercooked potates The place is small, maybe 10 tables. We went to the counter and when weais we were dining in they told us to take a seat and a server would bring menus. I ordered ices tea to drink but they only have Coke fountain products. I ordered Dr Pepper (that was an option). The server came back to tell me they were out of DP. So, I got Sprite. We got the combo #3 with the house cajun garlic sauce, mild. King crab, green mussels, crawfish and shrimp. We chose the peeled, head off shrimp. The combo had 2 mini corn cobs, 2 potatoes a out the size of a lacrosse ball and 2 thin slices of sausage. One pair of scissors but no crab cracker and the King ceabd wasn't pre split. The flavor of the sauce was great a dim glad we ordered mild. It was still spicy but tasty at the mild level. All the seafood was cooked perfectly but the veggies were not. The sausage was good but it's a tiny sliver of meat. Our bill was about $85 before tip. The server was friendly. I want this place to succeed and many people seem to be crazy for it. I just prefer Angry Crab for the overall experience and food.
