Nando's Mexican Cafe - East Mesa

I visited the location in Queen Creek before, but this was my first visit to the Mesa location. I was pleasantly surprised at the upgraded service and quality of food compared to the Queen Creek location. The serving size of our entrées was awesome. We also happened to catch the two for one margarita special, which made it even more delightful, the quality of food and service was very good. I would highly recommend.

I ordered the taco salad. A taco salad is a taco salad, right? Taco shell, beans, meat, salsa, etc etc. In this case, no. It was literally some lettuce, a couple diced tomato peices, cold shredded cheese, meat, and raw CARROTS, in a taco shell, which had the consistency of a sponge. I only took a couple bites at the restaurant and noticed it was...off. i figured i just wasnt hungry, but when i reheated the inner ingredients, thats when i figured out the issue. I cant believe a mexican restaurant labels this as a taco salad. I guess its my fault for not reading the desciption thourougly and asking for clarity, but come on a mexican joint, a taco salad, seems like no explanation necessary.

We had a lage group, and the wait staff was phenomenal. Would go again if we ever go to Arizona again.

What did you do to the patio? Wire chairs awful especially when your wearing shorts. The ones are to high. Hard for some people to get up on. Picnic tables, uncomfortable, can't lean back. Needs to be a nice, comfortable area to kick back and enjoy food and drinks. White couch?? Dirty as well as the carpet under it. Have totally ruined the nice atmosphere there.

Another excellent dinner with friends! Service was absolutely the best EVER! Our server, Coleman S should be a professional trainer! Food was served hot, fresh, and large portions! We love this location and frequent often! Thank you to Coleman for service beyond measure!
