The Stone Korean Tofu House - East Mesa

I went for lunch with my boyfriend.The service from the server woman was the worst...They throw food, they point fingers and get angry because the menu is in the QR Code, they come while they are on their cell phones and ask how the food is, but they don't respond and ignore people when they pass by...I felt like I was bringing too many personal issues into work…Also, when I asked for a box, they threw the box at me and gave it to me...They threw me another check without even asking if I wanted to receive the money on time...I think it would be better for the restaurant owner to run the service instead.First of all, I don't want to go again.

We walked in very hungry, but was instantly turned off. As we walked in almost 2 entire rows of tables were full of dirty dishes. Then as we get satten down, we were sitting for about 15 minutes. This place is awesome. The food is absolutely delicious and it has a nice balance of veggies, protein, and carbs, so it doesn’t give you that terrible feeling from eating pure meat and carbs. I got the spicy chicken combo with mushroom tofu soup and I cannot recommend it enough!The atmosphere was fine but I generally only care about food and they knocked it out of the park with that.

Food was great. Our first Korean food in restaurant dining experience. Tofu can be bought here too if you get there early.

I don’t understand, I need to order a takeout and my boyfriend tried to order it from online, they REJECTED it TWICE, it’s not the systematic error because it was clearly said the restaurant rejected which is a human act.We then tried to call the restaurant, no response, someone just hung up. It was only 8:15pm, and the closing time is 10pm.This is also not the first time that we encountered service like this. Last time when we ate there at restaurant, it was about the closing time, like in 5-10 min. I understand we were there a little late, but we were still eating (we almost done) and then the waiter just came and carry the to-go box to let us pack.Seriously? Most restaurants I went to are always waiting the customers to finish, they don’t have to receive the customers after passing their close time, but will still wait customers to finish. If this is how you treat your customers, customers won’t show you respect either.
