Went for the steamboat/hotpot deal for two. Staff were nice enough but service was on the slow side despite not many customers. Food was really terrible. The meat was cut so thick that by the time it cooked in the broth, it was too rubbery to eat. We finished off the veges but didn't bother asking for a top up of anything. Left hungry and dissatisfied.
Prompt service. Food was average quality . Serving were very small (with lots of rice and noodles). No soft furnishings so it was a bit noisy. Went on Saturday night but was quiet: there were only 2-3 tables occupied (including ours).
Went to Joe's last night for dinner. Restaurant was fairly quiet, so getting a table was no issue. We were looking forward to a couple of menu items advertised in the Entertainment Book, however they were unavailable for the month as another Head Chef from Hyatt Bangkok was here and added a Thai flavour to the menu. And we were so glad she did. We tried one of her new menu items (Massaman curry), and the existing menu item Beef Rendang. Both were exceptional.
Me and my partner bought a groupon deal for two person with 59$.Last night we tested it out and staffs are friendly but overall experience was extremely terrible.Firstly, it is not all you can eat buffet steamboat like it was mentioned in ads because we were given a small menu with option to choose only two from each catagory like meat ,vege ,noodle and seafood..so you can only chose two meats out of four( chick /pork/lamb/beef)vege ( chinese cabbage /bok choy /tofu ) and seafood( fish /mussels/prawn/fishcake or ball/ baby octopus)noodle (rice vermicelle and egg noodle)@So we got like small bowls of lamb ,pork, beancurd, cabbage, two bowls of noodle ,fish and baby octopus. Secondly,we chose chicken broth as my hubby doesn't like tom yum soup but chicken broth was literally like boiled water ..so we had to request some sauces..even by adding soya sauce ,oyster sauce ,it wasn't even as flavoursome as other steamboat shop taste..wasn't even as tasty as instant noodle!! All those stuffs we got for us seem less than 25-30$..def not worth of what we paid for. And at the end, we went back home hungry and unsatisfied as pirtions were not enough and no taste at all.I am an Asian and I have been to many steamboat restaurants or shops and this is the worst I came across .We are not going back there ever again !! I mAY sound so negative but I have to give A true review ! thank you !
