Best Western Eglinton Arms

My family and I have been coming to this restaurant for over a year and have always enjoyed exceptional dinners. However, my husband and I were very disappointed with our meals last night. My meal was served below lukewarm, with potatoes that seemed frozen and not fresh. My husband ordered lasagna with garlic bread, but no salad was included and the lasagna was just a small slice, not a full portion as expected. When I asked the waitress if there was a new chef, she confirmed that there was. During a previous visit in August for a family meal, the lasagna came with salad and garlic bread included. We will not be returning until the quality of the food improves.

The food at this restaurant was excellent. I stayed for 2 nights using a voucher deal that allowed me to stay for the price of one night. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the service in all areas was exceptional. We were greeted with dinner as part of our deal, and the pizzas were delicious. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff went out of their way to help my partner get pints of Tennant's from another part of the hotel. Breakfast was standard but served quickly, and we enjoyed it. The bathroom was spotlessly clean with an amazing shower. The staff were all accommodating and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay or have dinner. I had a burger meal with homemade coleslaw, and my partner had 3 starters including beer battered onion rings on our last night, and it was fantastic. Coffee was available in the lobby if needed, and room service was prompt when we ordered it the first night. Overall, it was a brilliant and relaxing stay.

I was craving tofu and chili stir fry and a prawn kebab for dinner, and I'm so glad I chose these dishes from the fantastic menu. The tofu was cooked perfectly and full of flavor, and I was hooked from the first bite.

From the moment I arrived here I received a very warm welcome. The staff are fantastic, the beer is great and the food is well above average. I opted for the Curry and I was not disappointed as I found out the chef is from Sri Lanka. Nice heat, chicken cooked to perfection. I am staying here but if I lived local I wiuld come here for the Curry alone.

Stayed the night which was great, comfortable beds, great shower, and the breakfast was fantastic. Will definitely stay again.
