Now, it serves up delicious homemade dishes at affordable prices, accompanied by warm and welcoming customer service. The ambiance may not be fancy, but it is the perfect spot to grab a quick and tasty meal after exploring the stunning park.
Very impressed by this busy cafe in lovely Rouken Glen Park. It was very busy but nevertheless we were seated and served very quickly. The staff were super and it was obvious how much repeat business they do. We had soup and sandwiches. Very tasty and excellent value for money.
The staff in The Boathouse at Rouken Glen pond are young, friendly, efficient, professional, etc., which has to be a good start. It’s a busy place with many regulars, which can’t be bad, so why no pay it a visit, and enjoy the family friendly atmosphere.
I had lunch here yesterday with a friend, I was really disappointed in the quality of food. The chicken and mushroom soup was odd looking and tasteless. Left most of it. Cakes look nice but very dense and difficult to digest. I have visited before, it was nice so hoping this was a blip.
I frequently visit this restaurant for coffee and a scone, but many other customers come for a late breakfast or lunch, which all looks delicious. I love the coffee and scone here, but what really keeps me coming back is the incredibly friendly and customer-focused staff. They treat everyone with equal friendliness and respect, regardless of age, gender, or any other factor.
