Haven Arms - East Riding of Yorkshire

This charming rustic pub, nearly 200 years old, is set in beautiful peaceful countryside. They serve delicious Sunday lunches as well as other typical meals throughout the week. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal.

I had a wonderful time at this charming pub. I went with friends while visiting Hedon. The atmosphere was friendly, the beer was excellent, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend it.

We moved to Hedon in 2021 and have had drinks in the beer garden a few times, really lovely. We decided to book for the Sunday carvery and it was absolutely amazing. The meats were so tender and the vegetables were very good too, lots of choice available. The members of staff and the Landlord were very welcoming and the room were the carvery is served is really nice. It’s also very reasonably priced. We will definitely visit again and have no hesitation in recommending the Haven Arms.

I was going to leave a review on your Facebook page but for some reason I cannot work out how to do it. But honestly the carvery I had today was absolutely amazing and I used to work in a carvery for many years. The service was also spectacular, seated as soon as we arrived, drinks came very quickly, was told to wait for the restock of carvery which I find very good! (No one wants to only see a tiny bit of veggies in a dish on the deck) didn't wait too long either. Was definitely worth the wait! A massive choice of meats and vegetables which for me was out of this world. All meats were cooked to perfection, simply lent my fork on the meat and it fell apart all veg was very tasty too. Nothing seemed too much trouble at all. Plates were taken as soon as we had finished too. Always asked if everything was ok with our meals throughout. Even the carvery chef stopped to speak to us about the food at the bar as we were paying. I couldn't recommend this place enough and it's definitely not known to as many people as it should. I wouldn't have known about it if I hadn't spent 20 minutes looking for somewhere for Sunday lunch and I'm over the moon I've found this little gem hiding away in the fields we will be back without a doubt and I cannot wait to tell my family and friends about this place. The pub itself is very homely and cosy which I love the feel of. Everything all clean and tidy and all staff seemed very pleasant. Sometimes hard to find these days. We go here for a meal quite often on a Sunday, The the food is delicious, the choice of meat vegetables is far greater than any other carvery I have previously been to. Staff always friendly, welcoming efficient. Really can recommend , Very good value.
