Seafront Chippy

This is our second visit to this restaurant, and it is perfect for my wife and me. During our first visit, we ordered the pensioner's special and were told it was only half a portion. That was just fine with us, as we usually share a fish and chips dish.

I ordered the pensioner fish and chips for £3.50 and was very impressed. The fish and chips were excellent and the price was great. It was the best we've had in a long time. The food was nicely cooked, not greasy, and the service was excellent.

Always enjoy pensioners ' fish and chips here but the portion size has shrunk to the point that I have seen bigger fish fingers! Need to reverse this trend or we will be back to Sullivans child 's portion .

When at hornsea which is regular we always use seafront chippy as the food is good BUT on our last 2visits the service has been terrible the last visit 04/06/21 from ordering to getting our food was 35 minutes which is not acceptable in any...
