The Angel - East Riding of Yorkshire

Came here for lunch in the summer and had beautiful fish and chips, so when we were in the area on Sunday we decided to visit for lunch, so glad we did. We ordered Sunday lunch and it was fabulous, really tender roast beef, not slices of sandwich beef which we have had before at other places, and a homemade Yorkshire pudding, and it was only £9 each. It’s the place to go if you’re in Beverley.

The Angel has a good selection of beers including two hand pulled cask conditioned real ales. It's a large two room pub with a very attractive, nice big sheltered courtyard beer garden. It's a very food orientated pub no pool table or dart board. Nice friendly helpful staff.

Great food, lovely staff, nice to see a pub busy and drinking at the bar.

The food here is really good and is very reasonably priced. This pub has a lovely atmosphere and good quick service.
