The Camerton - East Riding of Yorkshire

Eating was terrible, it was a meal we were looking forward to, but a catastrophe turned out. the baked on the steak pee was like pappe we chose the fish and chips that was fat, but the biggest trouble were the chips that were... tasteless even after heavy seasoning. the service was very slow while we were offered a free desert, the experience overall was bad. an older couple sitting next to us also complained again on the baked and chips.

Eating was great, generous portions and well cooked. good menu, much to choose. boss very apologetic for our waiting, bought us a drink for the delay in ordering, very helpful and obligated. will soon visit again, a very pleasant experience.

We have visited the camerton at a series of occasions and had always nice food and drinks. the service is great, always friendly and uplifted. during this visit we had sticky sesame chicken on a bed loaded with jalapeños pollinated Cheesy-Fries with a honey and bourbon glaze. the portion size was great and it tasted beautiful. it came on a hot chic so was hot until it was finished. that was on the special board, but I hope it goes on the menu so I can have it again and again. kelly donna was great, very attentive when they served us a good fun and know about the dishes. I would definitely recommend this bar they will not be disappointed

Called in on the off chance there was a free table, very busy Sunday but lovely member of staff had a walk round and found us a recently vacated table. I had the carvery and husband had steak and chips. We thought on the expensive...side but when the steak arrived, he said it was the best he had had in ages, and worth the price. Waitress timed it just right asking me to go for the carvery , i sat down just as the steak arrived! Lovely tender meat, veg cooked nicely, not excited about the yorkshire pudding it was chewy, and hardly any gravy. But it was very busy. Will certainly go again. All the waiting staff very friendly, service was good.
