The Lowther - East Riding of Yorkshire

I had a lovely evening with friends at this restaurant. We enjoyed dishes from the extensive tapas menu and tried the cocktail trees. The atmosphere was beautiful and the layout of the restaurant was well adapted to allow space between parties. There were also hand sanitiser stations around the establishment, which made me feel very safe. I would definitely like to return in the future.

I ordered the special dish from the specials board, which was described as squeaky and with cider gravy. However, the dish I received had a simple bistro gravy and pickled red cabbage on the side, which was not what I had ordered. I brought this to the attention of the waitress, who said she would inform the manager. Unfortunately, I was not satisfied with the resolution and ultimately decided not to return to this restaurant.

I met with a friend for a Christmas meal. The staff was very attentive. It was a quiet night with only three other tables in the restaurant. The food was decent and affordable.

On Monday we have eaten for something on the bank holiday, because not many places are open. had the whole court to us. my wife ordered a steak and we ordered 12 tapas between 4 of us plus some ciabatta and chips. the tapas were fantastic and the portions were great. really not the chips we were all filled, we needed some tapas to take home. the steak of my wife was a bit overwhelmed (needed for mid/runch), except that everything was great.

Ate a salmon with patatoes: the fish was dry, overcooked and with nous taste. Do not recommend this dish.
