Vanilla Ice Cream Parlour

I visited this restaurant on the afternoon of September 13th, 2023, where two male servers were working. Our order was delivered promptly and tasted delicious. However, I felt uneasy when a young woman arrived with a small dog, accompanied by a couple of other people who seemed to be acquainted with the older of the two servers. He held the dog in his arms, petting and fussing over it. After they left, I noticed him serving the next customer a cone of ice cream without washing his hands first. He also did not wear gloves, which I found to be unsanitary. This practice is unacceptable and left me feeling disgusted.

The ice cream was great, I loved my biscoff Milkshake and the kids loved their waffles and Ice cream. Only slight bug bare was the music was on loud. I sound like a grandad but on the upper deck sat under a speaker you had to shout to talk. We moved seats but just a little annoying. Ice cream though, which is the important bit was great though

Entered the store stood at the counter got blatantly ignored. Then after a wait was told won't be a minute. Partner toddler off to the loo leaves me to he served. Comes back ages later I'm still stood waiting. Lady was taking her time very slowly to make a drink while another member of staff was stood at a vacant table reading and playing with a menu. Another customer walked in got put before me as his child was all over and and loud so I chose to walk out and attend the store 2 doors away where I met a lovely woman and was given the service I required. I simply wanted a coffee. I am customer service also the service I was given you should loose those staff or close those doors and re train EVERYONE including yourself that was absolutely shocking and disrespect. I have visited this store every time I've visited Bridlington most my life with my family.... we WONT be coming again I can ASSURE... Further to add a comment from my partner. Clean the soap off the walls around the toilet that's clearly been there a good few months as it's dried ti dust form and cracked.... Nice breach of food standards of not upkeeping to red area hygiene lovely non existent natashas law around your store too...

Vanilla came recommended by a friend so we decided to give it a go. The parlour is beautifully decorated, a lovely ambience, with a huge selection of deserts to choose from. The staff were lovely. An 80s mix-tape played in the background (perfect for the wife and I) and the view from the parlour out into the ocean is spectacular. Very high quality ice cream and great customer service. We had a great time, thank you.

Visited bridlington for a Wee trip. They came to the vanille ice salon several times from their delish toastie’s to their fresh cake and can not forget the amazing ice and waffeln. would recommend this place in spite, not only eating big, but also their manier. again thanks for the nice eating
