Feedback gevenConsistent quality of economic bee hoon my weekly fix New price $2.50 $3.00
On October 17, 2020, I was in line to buy vegetarian noodles, which I do every Saturday. I typically order three packets of bee hoon and one packet of black noodles. However, the woman at the counter, who has shoulder-length hair and is shorter and heavier, responded to me very rudely in Chinese by saying, "Miss, look first before you order." Initially, I didn't understand what she meant, so I looked at the counter and saw that there were no black noodles available. It would have been so simple for her to just say that there were no black noodles, but instead, her response was quite disrespectful. Is this how a stall owner should treat a customer? I have been a regular customer nearly every Saturday and Sunday. If she’s not in a good mood, maybe she should consider not coming to work. Poor service is unacceptable, and just because your business may be successful now doesn’t give you the right to treat customers poorly. One day, for whatever reason, you might find yourself without any business!
I used to patronize Bao Bao Veg very often when I was a flexitarian one decade ago. This is a typical Chinese vegetarian hawker stall that serves the traditional 'Zhey Mee Hoon ' early in the morning until late lunch (or when they are completely sold out). They are very efficient and the ordering process is very fast, due to the standard modus operandi of asking customers in advance along the queue. You would be sure to see long queues during 初一 十五 or the weekends. Be sure to check it out as this is probably one of the best vegetarian stalls in Bedok South that serves delicious vegetarian mee hoon. One of the con would be the typical serving of mock meats in traditional Chinese vegetarian stalls, but the mee hoon is really good! One of my favorite breakfast location if I am around Bedok South area. Updated from previous review on 2018-02-08

Make sure to check it out, as this is likely one of the best vegetarian stalls in Bedok South, known for its delicious vegetarian mee hoon. One downside is that the portions of mock meat are typical for traditional Chinese vegetarian stalls, but the mee hoon itself is truly excellent! It’s one of my favorite places for breakfast whenever I'm in Bedok South. This review has been updated from my previous one on February 8, 2018.
