Have visited numerous places: golf club dinner, Sunday dinner, sixty-sixth birthday parties, funeral guards and annual meetings. dawn and her team always make an excellent job. Top tip: they must be hungry before they go or they will never finish their meal!

Only for the best Sunday dinner, all cooked to perfection, tasty and red hot, loved it all, brot and butter pudding delicious. beautiful staff would be very good to come!

Dawn and her personal are really friendly and responsive eating is good home cooking and the view of the golf course is beautiful

We are golfers, unfortunately we did not have our golf clubs with us. the curs looks stunning, cannot wait to play again. friendly and helpful staff. drinks on the terrace with views of the simply great.

We visited here with best friends to celebrate Golfers Retreat birthday. They are based inside the clubhouse and serve lunches, dinners and light bites. We had a set menu on this occasion which was a Sunday lunch consisting of a choice of roast pork,steak...pie or lamb shank. We also had a choice of dessert....rhubarb crumble and custard,choc brownie and peppermint custard,fruit salad and cream or Bakewell tart and custard. Everything was ALL homemade and piping hot and tasted absolutely delicious. As I say we have visited here many times for dinner and also sampled their famous buffets at private parties and everything is fantastic plus the presentation of the food is always second to none. You cannot fault it. I would recommend golfers retreat to anyone looking for lunch or a dinner pitstop. You won't be disappointed! May I also add that the views of the golf course are beautiful as you are sat by windows overlooking certain areas of the course.
