I try to pop in to this small little conveyor belt sushi and ramen place every time I go to Oceanz next door to stock up on seafood. <br/ <br/ Like: <br/ 1. The variety on their sushi conveyor belt they have small portions about $5 each and a good selection of half bowl ramens and udons at $6.80 onwards so you don’t over stuff yourself with carbs <br/ <br/ 2. The quality of the sushi and sashimi is so but it you are after a quick Japanese fix this hits the spot. <br/ <br/ 3. They have kids platters called a train plate that start at $6 with a drink, sushi and a small noodle or rice <br/ <br/ 4. They also own the Daruma ramen noodle chain which has five outlets in Auckland and a second conveyor belt sushi restaurant in Sylvia park opening soon. <br/ <br/ 5. Good selection of reasonably priced Japanese soft drinks and liquors and mini sized desserts
Their sushi is fresh and tasty. Their pork ramen is enough to fill your tummy with enough space for a couple of plates of sushi. It's quite expensive for what it is if you're not watching what you get and the takeaway ones look much smaller than if you were to dine in and not as much sauce. But staff is always friendly
I got a few plates of sushi, a mini Spicy Chilli Pork Ramen and a Japanese low alcohol fruit drink. They were all very delicious but the bill was $60. Wasn't expecting the bill to be this expensive, but I reckon the food was worth the price.
I've visited this place before, so today I decided to review it. There is a big range of sushi, sashimi and desserts, including tiramisu chocolate mousse, and cream puffs. My favourite sushi was the teriyaki chicken sushi. The staff are very friendly.
