Downdown Deli - Eastbourne

I had an unexpected and amazing dining experience in Eastbourne. The bagels and sandwiches were great, especially the mac and bee loaded pots. The food was high quality, the portions were generous, and the prices were good. I love trying unique foods, and this place is definitely worth a visit if you want to try something different. They have a wide range of American options on the menu.

I just have to say, the food at this restaurant is amazing. I come here almost every week (sometimes twice a week) and I have never had a bad meal. From their American style bagels to their delightful window display, this place is fantastic! It's rare to find a place that excels in food quality, service, and price all at once. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted like family by the employees, who make you feel right at home. The prices on the menu are very fair, it's refreshing to see an independent company not overcharging. The girl at the cash register always remembers my order, which I appreciate. They offer a variety of baguettes, sandwiches, and bagels, with vegan and gluten-free options available. Their mac and cheese pots are to die for! They also have a great selection of American drinks, sweets, and snacks. The restaurant is just a short 10-minute walk from the city center, far enough to escape the hustle and bustle. If I could give more than 5 stars, this place would deserve it all.
