We were lucky to stumble upon this hidden gem! The waiter was very friendly and attentive, making sure everyone had a great experience. The Rillettes, tomato and cheese salad, and chicken chowder starters were all fantastic. The beef stew, lamb meatballs, and lamb stew with ginger were all cooked to perfection and incredibly tasty. For dessert, the cheese and biscuits, waffles, and peach tart were equally delicious. To top it all off, we enjoyed a half price bottle of wine. We had three courses for three people and a bottle of wine for only £44. This place is a real find.
I loved this place. Good food, excellent value for money, friendly service and wine at half price in October was a good advantage. This is the traditional cuisine of a French farm. It may not be delicate, but it is abundant, tasty and abundant. You know you ate well when you leave. The wines complemented the food wonderfully. The service was friendly and cordial, perfect for the small space. We will return, often. Great restaurants need good food, but they don't need to be very expensive, they need to reflect VFM. In this case, the value is extremely high. I doubt you're disappointed in La Grange.
Having not been there before, we were initially surprised by the simple decoration, plastic cows at the entrance and a pig in the bathroom. However, the friendly waiter of Curtous showed us a safe cubicle of Covid that gave us an element of intimacy. The food was healthy, tasty fresh kitchen of the country that was satisfactory and tasty. The bill was surprisingly low and even gave us a 50% discount on the wine, that I could not accept already.
Le Grange has adapted to the Covid restrictions and currently offers table service instead of buffet. The restaurant is owned by the same people who own Exquis and the food is equally high, but the prices are lower. Their half-priced drinks in September mean you get a delicious 3-course meal with half a bottle of wine each for about 15 p. pags. You can't complain about it!The highlights of the menu are the paté (entrante), the confit of duck cabin cake and the lamb stew in beer with gingerbread and chirives, both absolutely delicious. The rations are very generous, so hard to find space for dessert, but who could stop trying three amazing French cheeses?Yes, the location is out of the way, but I don't understand how Le Grange is not full every night! It is really one of the best places in Eastbourne to get out to eat regularly with family and friends, relaxed, friendly, amazing, good wine and excellent value for money.
French cuisine kosher is not kosher in the Jewish term, but if someone told me that this French restaurant is suitable kosher, I would expect good French food. And I understood exactly that the lamb stew in beer with peppers was amazing, the lemon mouse was made with real lemon, not with a little of a package. . icy ephes beer at half price 1. 25 a bottle also the priced places on which I have left a bad critique, take note. This place isn't expensive either. . . and clean the floor with the most expensive pretentious restaurants like Port Isaac. The stargazy. Looking at the fucking lol bank account.
