I have been here a lot, always great service and breakfast, in my opinion this is the best cafe in whole East Sussex.
I have noticed this restaurant on numerous occasions and it always seems to be bustling with customers. I decided to visit during lunch hours on a Friday and it was still quite busy. We were promptly attended to by a young waitress who did a great job despite being responsible for the entire cafe. We ordered drinks, and my husband was so pleased with his milkshake that he was even given extra due to an excess amount being made. The menu had a wide variety of options to choose from. I opted for the garlic chicken with a choice of mashed potatoes or chips and salad, while my husband went for a burger without the salad. Our drinks and meals were served promptly. My husband enjoyed his burger and I liked my dish as well, although some parts of the chicken were a bit dry. The portion sizes were generous and I couldn't finish my meal. The garlic flavor was delightful and I was happy to find salad cream available in a bottle. The prices were reasonable, with my dish costing £6.95. The restroom was very clean. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.
One of my favourite places in town for breakfast! The staff are always so lovely! very nice atmosphere
I ordered the traditional breakfast. Expected better for the price. Marginally better than Wetherspoons. The egg was overcooked and bacon not good. The toast was deep-fried in grease. The only good thing about it was the mushrooms other than that it was overpriced rubbish.
