Priti Indian - Eastbourne

Just had takeaway from this restaurant. The food was tasteless I could have done a lot better myself with a jar of LLyod Grossman curry sauce. The Maija curry was described as medium !! it was inedible it was so hot. The veg curry and chicken sag waila was tasteless. the only good part of the meal was the bread. Avoid this takeaway .

Lamb sagwalla totally without merit flavourless and tough meat. Chicken Korai mild and unimpressive. Matapaneer made with a non Indian cheese and a slimy goo. Whoever the cook is he needs to go. Worst Indian I've had in years. AVOID

What has happened since our last order?!?? Been going there for years and always been fairly good. Tonight’s was just disgusting! We called up to order and the lady didn’t seem to know anything about the menu! We ended up with the wrong dishes, picked up and literally live 2 mins away but everything was luke warm. Chicken was weird and definitely didn’t taste like the Modhu I’ve offered before.. as for the prawn Jalfrezi 1 piece of green pepper and not a chilli in sight! We wanted popadoms with the sauces wrong amount and no mint sauce but a rice sized container of watery yogurt with a bit of cucumber on top! If I hadn’t had such a stressful exhausting day I would have taken it straight back for a refund! Will never go back again!!

Ordered a takeaway at 5.45pm and they said it would be an hour.We phoned after an hour and twenty minutes and they said it was on it's way.When we phoned after 2 hours when they finally picked up the phoned, they put it on the counter and left it there for 30 minutes not answering it, so we could hear them talking in the background. Two and a half hours later our food arrived, stone cold!! When we phoned to complain, they didn't give any apology, they just said, well you could have sent it back if you didn't want it!! Disgusting customer service, we will never get food here again and nor should you.

Ordered food for six of us to be delivered. When it arrived we found that it was missing three dishes and another was wrong (we ordered prawn and they sent chicken). Rang up to tell them and the person answering was rude, first he said the missing items were in the bag (They weren’t, in 50 odd years on this planet I’ve learned to recognise an empty bag). Then he said he would send the prawn dish but not the other missing items. When questioned, he hung up. We rang back and someone else answered and agreed to send everything we’d ordered. When the driver turned up with it he said the manager had told him to tell us he didn’t want us to order from there again ! We have used the Priti several times and found the food to be good but their attitude when asked to put right a mistake on their part was appalling. This isn’t the first time they have missed an item; they missed a dish off my son’s order a while back and finally delivered it four hours later but we decided to give them a second chance. I wouldn’t be ordering from them again even if I wasn’t banned for daring to want what I’d paid for.
