The Ganges Indian - Eastbourne

Everything is good at this excellent Indian. when they book, they ask for a table at the end with views of the boats. The best marina view I know in Britain. eating is complex and tastefully decorated with many unusual things.

The restaurant is excellent, I was there before. my dissappointment is with OpenTable.co.uk (only the table reservation page. the restaurant is, I insist.) this time I had to cancel the reservation. this was not possible, however, via the link provided by OpenTable.co.uk, which is not a coincidence, which has been programmed: OpenTable.co.uk website collects the credits when they refer to customers, but does not want to deal with them when plans change. OpenTable.co.uk website then 'suggests' to call the restaurant directly and I know that 's how it works, I did the same thing that worked in a big business's contest department. the more they are 'deal direct', the better. but I did not expect a company to be as blunt as OpenTable.co.uk and therefore I will never use their service again.

It was a couple times here to get a joy. eating is in a very high standard. my only moan would be that I eat too much each time because it's so beautiful. service is great, the employees are always there if they want them, and nothing is too much annoyed.

Great view of the harbour, good service of the tandoori mixed grill was very nice one of our group spilled her wine almost a glass) and it was replaced by a new glass free of charge, which was a nice note wants to visit again next time in the city.

I live on 400 yards from Ganges but this was my first experience there. Seven of us went, and all tried different courses. The service was warm and friendly, the food was excellent. They serve a wide range of dishes to suit all tastes, including my favourite dhal makhani, and everyone was complimentary. The glass walls complimented the ambience, giving panoramic views of Sovereign harbour by night. When booking I had inadvertently admitted that it was a birthday, and at the end of the meal we were present with a warm, freshly baked chocolate cake. I cannot believe that it has taken me so long to try this restaurant, and it is definitely on the list now for celebrations and for Sunday lunch buffets. Their theme nights are also an attraction.
