Eastchester Odyssey Diner

Tonight, Rosanna and I went to the Odyssey Diner for a quick dinner. I noticed an older woman sitting alone, having her meal and reading the newspaper. When the waitress came by to check on us, I mentioned that I was a bit distracted by the woman dining by herself. The waitress then told us that she comes in every night, always asks for the same waiter and sits at the same table. Rosanna asked if there was any family that accompanied her, to which the waitress replied no—she has never been married and has no children; she is completely alone. I could see tears welling up in Rosanna's eyes (given that The Phantom of the Opera was still fresh in our minds), and I decided to ask the waitress if we could include the woman's dinner on our bill. I figured that even if she were wealthy, based on my experiences, wealth has little to do with money. True richness comes from the company we keep. It felt good to pay it forward.

I absolutely loved the Italian omelet, and the potatoes were fantastic as well. The service was excellent. Thank you for a wonderful meal!

I always have a great experience at this restaurant. In nearly 30 years of being a customer, I've never encountered any problems.

Our company, #newcrystalrestoration, hosted an event at this restaurant. The diner did a great job setting up for the event. Food was delicious and service was outstanding. They went above and beyond!!! THANK YOU
