T At The General Store - Easton

I had an excellent experience overall at this restaurant. The interior decoration was beautiful, the staff was attentive and provided great recommendations, and the food was excellent. It was truly a wonderful dining experience.

Walked out after waiting 15 minutes to be acknowledged despite only 4 tables having guests. Our neighboring table guests who were there prior to us said they had also not been acknowledged besides having water put on their table. Ambiance is cold with uncomfortable chairs, the same kind used in my high school classes. The minimalist decor doesn’t create a warm, inviting setting where you come to relax, unwind, and have a memorable meal. We were seated at a two top in front of a window with the sun beating in despite numerous empty 4 tops. If you want bread with your meal, there is a $9.00 charge. As a former restaurant owner, I was very disappointed in the 15 minutes I was there so walked out. Therefore I can’t comment on the food.

The salmon, encrusted with pastrami spices and herbs, was fantastic! My companion and I are every bite of our generous portions as well as the sides (rice, green beans, and asparagus). We split a warm brownie sundae--rich and moist, the best I've ever had. Service was prompt and cheerfully attentive. Prices are very reasonable. Minutes: The noise made it hard to have a conversation, and the hard plastic chairs remind me of a cafeteria. I would also appreciate sparkling water, which is my go-to since I didn't drink alcohol.

Amazing! Had that ridiculously thick juicy pork chop, loved it! Can't wait to try brunch!
